Mary is a native Long Islander that received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Hunter College, CUNY.

While attending courses at night, Mary worked full time at Salomon Brothers and Morgan Stanley as a licensed Registered Representative sales assistant on the equity trading desks in the late 80s and early 90s. Upon graduation from college, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her CPA license with Grant Thornton. After working on the audits of many publicly traded companies across many different industries, including Countrywide Securities Corp., a licensed broker/dealer, Mary was recruited by Countrywide Securities in 1998.

There, she was a licensed VP mortgaged-backed securities and whole loan trader until the Liquidity Crisis of 2008. She returned to her accounting roots and worked as a consultant in the accounting departments of many publicly traded companies. In 2017, she became exclusively self-employed, performing accounting and bookkeeping services for her clients. Mary works out of her two offices in Santa Monica and Westlake Village.
